That can create inequality of chances according to the opposition parties… In the opinion of the Mayor of Budapest, “the election campaign posters do not really influence the public anyway.”Hungarian media has been reporting it for a while, that the majority of advertising market is clearly in the hands of one business man, Lajos Simicska, a very good friend of Viktor Orbán from their young age, therefore opposition has smaller chances to advertise.

The call for elections will be sent to 8.100.000 hungarian citizen living in Hungary and 112 662 beyond the borders without residence in Hungary. The below decree will deprive 2 million citizen of the capital (one quint of voters of the whole country) of visual campaign information “extra-screen” that one can just observe while walking by. That could mainly be a concern smaller parties. One of them is an “unorthodox” party called The Two-tailed Dog Party …
