Beinjin is witness of a double opening today, both event show the strengthening of Chinese-Hungarian relations.*
Beside the the Hungarian cultural institute in the Galaxy Soho, Hungarian Trade house opens in the Chinese capital. Hungary needs to improve its export, and especially its export beyond Europe, that must reach the third of total export by 2018, and -announced the responsible of the Chinese-hungarian bilateral relations, Péter Szijjartó.
He added that role of small and medium size enterprises is to be improved within, as they own only 20% of the export however ¾ of employees works for them.He mentioned that Hungarian export to China has already been improved by 16% between January and August, mainly in the water management, pharmaceutical, food and wine business.

According to statistics by Chinese Customs, displayed on the Chinese Ministry of Commerce: China-Hungary bilateral trade volume reached US$ 8.06 billion in 2012, down by 12.9% year-on-year. Of which China’s export to Hungary was US$ 5.74 million, while China’s import from Hungary was US$ 2.32 billion, down by 15.7% and 5.3% year-on-year respectively. a year before , in 2011, bilateral trade volume reached US$ 9.26 billion in 2011, up by 6.2% year-on-year. Of which China’s export to Hungary was US$ 6.81 million, and China’s import from Hungary was US$ 2.45 billion, up by 4.4% and 11.6% year-on-year respectively.
A series of overseas trade houses is has been planned to be opened this year, by the Hungarian Government.
By September 2013 Hungarian companies have already been operating trading houses in Baku, Astana and Moscow, capitals of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Russia in cooperation with the Hungarian Government - accordig its website notice (10th September 2013). that also announces plans about opening trade houses in Beijing, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh by the end of 2013, and one in Africa in 2014.
